12th International Conference on Mineral Resources in the Republic of Serbia

For the 7th consecutive year, Adriatic Metals was among major mining companies operating in Serbia at the annual International Conference on Mineral Resources

This year our company was represented by our Head of Corporate Affairs Mr. Dominic Roberts and our Head of Health & Safety Varnava Petrovic, who both chaired panels with prominent guests from the industry. Mr. Roberts led the discussion on the many ways local communities benefit from mining to which he added his extensive knowledge and experience of achieving community expectations. Mr. Petrović chaired the Health and Safety panel, discussing “Taking Health and Safety to the next level in Mining” adding his extensive experience from mining industry in Australia, and sparking a lively discussion.

The esteemed audience included Mrs. Dubravka Djedovic Negre, Minister of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Petar Djokic, Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, ambassadors of Canada, Australia, Finland and Sweden, and representatives of major international mining companies operating in Serbia.
