Race for the Cure 2021

For the second year in a row, Adriatic Metals Serbia team gave its support and contribution to the fight against breast cancer.

In order to promote women's health and raise awareness about breast cancer, we decided to be part of the "Race for the Cure" fundraiser event held from 26. September to 10. October 2021 across Europe. The Race / Walk for Cure is the largest form of support for breast cancer patients. It helps organizations and healthcare institutions raise the necessary funds and awareness about this health problem. Every year about 130,000 individuals in Europe lose their lives in the fight against the disease, so this type of support is extremely important.

Like last year, we were prevented from participating in large groups due to COVID-19, so "Race for the Cure" implemented activities in the form of online support and teams walking in smaller groups. This year we were represented by our team from Raska that registered online and each member donated funds as a contribution to the fight against breast cancer. The team then walked in Raska over the weekend in support of this event.
